I added commenting on the poll topics.
Each poll will have it's own comment dbase. Click the "Comment"
link beside the topic of interest and add a comment or view comments left
by others. |

I've added a random poll to the
site over the weekend. When voting on a random poll the script will pop
up the voting window for the poll while the parent window changes to the
directory where that particular poll lives. There may be other related
polls in that category that you can vote on or you can add a new poll in
that category, etc.. I think it is pretty slick and your comments pro or
con are welcomed. |

I've done quite abit of coding
since yesterday and the polling system is now "live" in every category!
I've still got to do some coding on the remote hosting section of the system.
This feature will allow web site owners to create new polls and then use
those polls or any poll(s) submitted by others on their own site.
If
you would like to be notified when this feature is enabled and you can
use this polling system on your site, enter your email address below:

I got a chance to do a little more
work on the polling system over the weekend. Since this is an interactive
system, meaning that new polls and new choices added to existing polls
are immediately visible to the world, I needed a efficient way to moderate
the polls. I have installed code to assist the moderators in maintaining
the polls . Hopefully this will be enough to allow the system to remain
totally interactive as intended.
Stay tuned, progress is being made
and I expect to allow polls globally across the site soon. |

No I didn't die but thanks for asking
(G). I finally decided to work on the poll script some more. The remote
hosting of polls section is not finished but the rest is pretty much working.
I've set up a test area for the poll here.
Create some new topics, add some choices to existing polls etc., and see
what you think of the script. |
